Hi, I want to be able to reference an anchor from another chart that is automatically copied to the chart I'm using with a chart study ( Colour bar based on Alert condition). It works fine if I create the drawing on the chart the studies on, but if I try and reference the copied drawing anchor from another chart, it doesn't do anything. Is this possible? the other chart copied drawing is of the same symbol and is in the same chartbook. It's not a major issue as I could just overlay a drawing on top of the copied one, but it's getting a little messy. This doesn't work as its referencing the copied drawings anchor point CROSSFROMABOVE(C,UDID[175].A1) This does work as its referencing the drawing created on the same chart overlayed over the top of the copied drawing. CROSSFROMABOVE(C,UDID[1156].A1) Appreciate your help. Mike |

You can not reference a drawing that is copied from another chart as the information for that drawing is not actually available within the chart itself. Another option, other than redrawing the drawing - would be to use the Spreadsheet Formula in the Source chart, where you use the following formula to get the anchor position: =UDID[x].Ay And then you can use the Study/Price Overlay to overlay the Spreadsheet Formula to the destination chart.
