I have gone to fonts on graphic settings and tried to enlarge DOM font from 8 to 12. This should be simple, but nothing happens. have used Sierra Charts for 10 years, and the DOM for 1 year. Just need a simple answer. I have tried the search for "make DOM font larger" and variation of same query to the support board. Please help me. |

As to what you select depends on exactly what you want to change and which window you are changing it on. The first thing to keep in mind is that if you are wanting to change the font for the Price Ladder, then that is the "Chart Text" font that you need to change. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Chart Text - (current font name) If you are wanting to change the font size of the Market Depth data in the DOM, then that is controlled by the "DOM Quantities/Sizes" font. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: DOM Quantities/Sizes - (current font name) The one other thing to keep in mind is that you can set a Global setting or you can have per-chart settings. If you are making changes to the Global Graphics Settings (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Global) and it is not making any changes in the chart/DOM, then the Chart/DOM is probably setup for per-Chart graphics settings. In which case you will want to select "Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart" and make the changes within that window. Refer to the information at the following link regarding Global versus Chart Graphics Settings: Graphics Settings: Using Different Color and Graphics Settings for Specific Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

John should know that I tried these different steps, but when I saw the "Text Color Warning" "text will not be visible" box appear I stopped from applying this simple fix. Also, WHY ISN'T THE TEXT I WANTED TO ENLARGE REFERRED TO NAMED: "THE DOM PRICE LADDER TEXT"? Chart Text could apply to everything textual on open windows. Thanks to you all and Happy Christmas and Holidays. |

The Text Color Warning will come up when you are trying to change a color to the same as the background making it so you will not be able to see the text. The Price Ladder does not have separate font from the rest of the Chart Text, so it is just part of that same group.
