The historical trades are no longer showing on the chart. I am using "Rithmic Trading" datafeed and on the newest update (1137). It will show the historical trades as long as sierra is running, but when I shut it down or restart sierra I lose the historical trades. Thanks |

Non-Sim is set to 31 days. Under Chart Settings the days to display/load is 60. |

And do you see the order fills in the Trade Activity Log: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeActivityLog.php#ViewingHistoricalTA We see no reason for a problem. I tried to follow the instructions, but it still doesn't show anything...unless I am missing a simple step. Also when I go to the trade activity log no trades show up since 5/23/14, but I have had trades everyday since then. Also just now on an automated strategy I did get something that says "cancelling due to no order update from server". Not sure if this is related or not. |

This is the problem then: Also when I go to the trade activity log no trades show up since 5/23/14, but I have had trades everyday since then. Although maybe you do not have the proper settings at the top of the Trade Activity Log to see the fills. Make sure in the Date Range frame, "Today" is enabled. Be sure to follow through the step-by-step instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeActivityLog.php#ViewingHistoricalTA Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. In regards to clearing the trade activity log, only the current day of order fills will be downloaded from the server in the case of Rithmic. At the top left of the Trade Activity Log select "All Activity". Update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Prerelease. After the update is completed and Sierra Chart is restarted, open the Trade >> Trade Service Log. You will see some lines at the top of the Trade Activity Log which indicate data being read from the trade activity log file. Copy those and paste them here. Thank you for the information. It is hard for us to say exactly what the problem is without monitoring very closely what is happening with your Trade Activity Log. We are looking over the code and adding some error logging, in case there is any file errors with logging trade activity. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
