Please see attached Screenshot. Both charts in this book have exactly the same settings in every way, yet the one on the right has large empty space showing the future clock time and the horizontal scroll is missing and doesn't function so I can't scroll left nor right and i cannot remove the space which is more than half of the chart. I have over 21 days loaded and fill space is NOT locked. I tried changing many things including the time frame, loaded more and less days, delete and reloaded data and nothing seems to resolve this glitch. It happened after I changed the symbol on both left and right charts to the updated futures symbol for 2023, the left side loaded just fine and the right side looks like what you see in the photo. I even tried deleting the SCID file of that chart and reloading it and the same thing happened. How do I resolve?

Enable the scrollbar: Chart Menu: Show Scrollbar (Chart menu) And then select this command: Chart Menu: Goto End of Chart (Chart menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am now seeing the in the date range in file "From" is showing today's date which could be the reason i cannot scroll back however, when i changed it to a date from 2 weeks ago (or any other date) and hit apply all it asks to reload the date from that date. I confirm it and it reloads however it brings up the same problem. I close and reopen chart settings and the date is once again back to the today's date. It doesn't allow me to change date range to a previous date (however on the same chart book on the left side chart with a different symbol this problem isn't happening). I have several sierra charts on different machines and this happens randomly when I roll over to the new symbol, sometimes its on the ES and other times its on the RTY. ONce it happens I can't change or resolve the problem and I cannot enter an older date in the date range (it just keeps changing it back to today)

The scroll bar is NOT the problem, The scroll bar itself is enabled and not missing, the ability to scroll back is the problem, the cube is gone, the left arrow is greyed out, there is no historical data showing so I can't scroll back (not even 1 hour back) adn I can't scroll forwards either. "Goto end of chart" has no effect. It simply will not load ANY data behind the current time and in chart settings will not allow me to change the "From" date range, when I change it and apply settings, it just reloads the same chart (without that range) and the date range goes back to today's date (basically ignoring my changes). I can send another screen shot if necessary. IT makes no sense why this would happen to just one chart in the book when I have another one opened that I rolled over the symbol with ZERO issues there and all the settings on both charts are the same (Except of the date range, which is not allowing me to save a change there)

This problem is happening on several machines each one slightly different. on one machine I can get 2022-12-14 in the "From" date range however for hte same chartbook on another machine it only allows 12-15 in the date for the same symbol same data feed. So its not even a consistent issue across other SC instances. Please advise if there is a way to correct the problem and have it download historical data for more than a few hours (It works on some and others its stuck, makes no sense)

We now see that you are using OEC. Sierra Chart does not provide historical data for OEC any longer. Refer to: Changes with Gain Capital/OEC and CTS Effective November 1, 2022 You must use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data. This is the only solution. We gave you Service Package 12 at no cost. You just need to activate the top of book exchange or exchanges that you need here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed And then re-download the data after Sierra Chart reconnects which it should do automatically (if not restart Sierra Chart): Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
