Disappearing charts

Hi I added a chartbook that I got from my trading friend, it worked for one day. On restarting the computer logging in and reloading the saved chartbook ( in the correct data folder), it comes up blank. It contains chartbook linked to es. Its not a data issue as the example workbook also contains es charts. I have deleted and reinstalled the same files from source ( ie. unsaved by me in sierra charts), but still blank. Any ideas? |

Open the Chartbook and then select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. Most likely your friend uses a different service setting, which would mean a different set of symbols. The above command changes the symbols for what you need them to be.
