Hello I have an order flow chart and one of the studies is another symbol. In the settings, I have "include in spreadsheet" checked as yes. but when i download (export bar and study data to text file) it does not show up in the data. Can you help me with this? I cannot find any chat on this in the support board Thanks |

What study exactly are you using that is "another symbol"?

We just did a test with "Add Additional Symbol" and used the "Edit >> Export Bar and Study Data to Text File" and the additional data is in the output. Note that it is just the Open/High/Low/Last for the Add Additional Symbol and it shows as the far right in the exported information. It may look like the primary symbol data, but it is not.

OK. Thanks Mine leaves zeros for the additional symbol h,l,c prices. It didn't always. It just started doing this on it's own without any changes made by me. I did update the software several days ago... IDK Thanks for looking into it. |

Can you please attach the output text file for us to take a look at it. Also, what is the symbol used in the Add Additional Symbol study and does it have current data that matches to the main symbol for the chart?

The additional symbol is SPY and although my screen is accurate, the downloaded data is zeroes. File attached Thanks |

It turns out that this was a simple issue, but we did not think of it until now. The problem is that the data for the Add Additional Symbol does not go as far back as the main symbol data. Therefore, prior to January 20, 2022 you do not have any data for SPY, but after that date, you do have the information. Keep in mind the exported file goes from oldest entry at the top to the newest at the bottom.
