Hi, I set my account to download a Rithmic data feed since I'm paying for it through APEX. However, I went thru the steps and it was very slow and glitchy loading... but appears to have connected. But I closed the software because it was SO slow and glitchy... and when I reopened it, I got an error message (attached screenshot). I also attached the settings I'm using for Rithmic (redacted some info). Do you know how to fix this? I'd ideally like to use the Rithmic data feed, and cancel my data feed I purchase from Sierra. Thanks! Love sierra charts BTW. |

1. You are not using the correct symbols for Rithmic. Translate the symbols with this Edit menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service You really do need to use the Denali Data Feed: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Market Data and Support Policy But you do not have to pay the professional fees. Thanks, so even though I'm paying Rithmic for market data, I have to pay for Denali data because of the historical data issues with Rithmic? I think I'll be flagged as a professional because y'all wanted me to provide broker info for level 2 data, which I don't have. I'm trying to think of ways I don't have to pay for data with every single broker I have. I'm currently paying for data now, the setting I'm using is SC Data - All Services. |

I've used SC Denali data with funded trader firms and with CQG at AMP. Go with the Denali data and only use Rithmic or CQG for order execution. You only have to pay the CME market data fees once, to SC.

Yes, but CME Group Requirement is for "active" (which you have proven) and "funded", which remains to be proven. From the CME Certification: "The Non-Professional Subscriber must: a. have an active and funded futures trading account; b. be an individual, natural person or small business entity" The solution if you do not have a Futures Trading Account (but would otherwise qualify as a Non-Professional) is described here: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement |

Just for the experience of another Apex customer: I can say for sure that I have Apex setup with Rithmic for order routing only, and Denali for my market and historical data (for reliability). I also have my own funded broker account (which gets me through the "proven" test) with AMP -- not that I have it setup this way, but you could easily setup something similar for a very small funded account amount that would cover Micro day margins). AMP don't then charge any data fees as it is setup for order routing only. My data fee is to SC for Denali. And in this case, my connection is setup to use the Rithmic Apex settings. |
