Hey guys, I have with my broker EdgeClear/Phillips the statement set up to do Intraday FIFO -- as in my overnight trades remain the same and when the RTH session opens, those get cleared first on a FIFO basis. How would I show my positions to do that on the position reporting on the DOM or charts? Is it even possible? Right now, I'm just writing on paper where my avg is, but would be great if I can get the DOM to show it as well. Thanks |

Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Open Position Average Price (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Okay, I went through it and I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. For the fills to be split between trading sessions, both using FIFO. for the start time I set it to 630am (PST) and I set the filter initial fills to "Yes" and load order fill for current day only is set to "Yes" I just want the whatever I am holding overnight to still be there (after the US Open) and then when I start trading the US open, for the DOM position / PnL to start from zero and I just can't seem to figure out the combination. Trying to have RTH session show separate and the globex Any help is appreciated. |

We can explain how to do this. But we really would rather avoid it because it starts getting complicated and then we will get more burdened with questions when there are issues which is likely.

Would you be able to explain it to me, it can be private if needed. and if issues arise, I won't even ask and just reverts to the original way or writing it on paper It would help me out greatly if that can be done |

Sorry we are just getting back to this now. I just want the whatever I am holding overnight to still be there (after the US Open) and then when I start trading the US open, for the DOM position / PnL to start from zero and I just can't seem to figure out the combination. To accomplish what you want you first need to enable the Order Fill Calculated Position for the charts or Trading DOMs where you want to have the position reset at the open the next day: Trading Information Windows: Using Order Fill Calculated Trade Positions Once this is done, then what you need to do at the beginning of the day at the open, or just before that at the Order Fills Start Date-Time to the date of the current day and to the time of the open: Chart Settings: Order Fills Start Date-Time (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) That should be all you would need to do at the beginning of the day. The position quantity will go to 0 and the profit/loss will also go to zero. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
