The study linked above gives you that ability. Follow the instructions on that page to create an Alert for when you have a "Long Down" bar and then it will get colored. Also refer to the information on Alerts at the following link: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning Note that if you want different colors for the "Long Down" versus the "Long Up" then you will need to use two copies of the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study to cover each situation separately.
