Hello, I am using ACSIL to access historical flat to flat trade data, with great success so far. My only question would be about the 'Unused' variable inside of the s_ACSTrade struct in the scstructures.h file. Would it be possible to set this to the 'Note' field that is associated with a Trade Activity Entry? This would be very helpful because I could then filter out by individual trade setups and view my subgraphs on only those specific trades. If there is a different way of getting that text field within ACSIL, let me know. Thank you. |

We have to add this new structure member variable and we will do that in the next release. This will be in version 2458. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I see the new structure member in Pre release 2458 but it is returning an empty string. It is empty for every order fill. The note field is already set for each order fill. In case you need an example to test I am using the one provided in the documentation. Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study: sc.GetTradeListEntry() In my code I am using the Flat to Flat version of the two functions. I just tested with the non Flat to Flat functions and the result is the same. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-12-05 04:23:34

Either way I did update to the prerelease 2458 and made a few tests, then made the previous post. The next day I opened the chartbook where I was doing the test and no code had been changed, and now the strings were populating correctly. At that point I wrote back that I was getting them. I am glad this feature is now accessible, thank you. |
