Hello, I have EOD data with tickers. I scan them o daily basis so i get 10-20 stocks to check. I want to create "Watchlist" from my scan so i can check charts in sierrachart. Is is possible to create "text" file witch i will past into sierrachat folder so sierra will interpret it as a watchlist so i can check chart in platform? Best Regards |

Yes, you can do this. Refer to the following information on the Associated Watchlist and note the subsection for "Importing a list of Symbols" within it: Changing the Symbol of a Chart: Using the Associated Watch List For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you. I wam looking further into this and still cannot work with this. I will show my steps: I download historical EOD data for stock AIRWAY in TXT file and file is in Sierrachart/DATA folder. I create watchlist test.SymbolList. Inside file is only string AIRWAY I put this file in DATA FOLDER I import list from associated watchlist I mark field "Watch List mode" I click on text "AIRWAY" I got msg "Invalid symbol name" I noticed that in DATA folder has been creted file AIRWAY.dly How can I "direct" symbol name to TXT file? |

You need to save your own historical daily data with a dly extension. Do not use TXT. Refer to: Text/CSV Data Format Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
