It will not show on the Trade Account Monitor. See Daily Loss Management 2.png attachment Is it the case that when I designated a "Loss Trigger Value", that CQG will take me out of my trade at that point, a sort of auto-liquidation? Is that what happens here? Also is that value $ dollars or points? |

The Profit/Loss Management is a built-in tool to Sierra Chart. The numbers are always in the Currency you have setup for your account. Refer to the following: Global Profit/Loss Management: How Daily Net Profit/Loss is Calculated for a Trade Account Since you have the option for Flatten Positions When Loss Rules Met, then when your losses meet the amount you have entered, your Sierra Chart software sends a Flatten command to CQG. Hello, I hit my daily loss limit today and I was liquidated, which is what I want to happen. But after I clicked to enter for an error. And I was filled again. A daily loss limit has to be something prevents me from re-entering. Is there anyway this can prevent me from entering the market again once my daily loss limit has been hit? Thank you |

You need to enable the option for Lock After Positions Flattened. But even then, you can reset the lock and continue to trade. This feature does not have the ability to completely stop you from continuing to trade. Refer to the information here: Global Profit/Loss Management: Lock Trading (Global Settings >> Global Profit/Loss Management) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
