old versions of studies wont load in new SC versions

Hello, I have saved .StdyCollct files on to a usb from 2017. When I drag those files to the data folder on my computer & load them into Sierra Charts & then select them as a Study for my charts... not a single indicator saved. The name is there but when I look at the Studies Settings... it's completely blank. Is this because those .StdyCollct Files come from too many years/versions ago? I use to be able to swap these files from computer to computer without any issues. Thank You |

Yes, the Study Collection is too old. You can try to recover it by going through the same process as you would for a Chartbook: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Opening Older Chartbooks So you would downgrade to version 2204 and see if you can open the Study Collection, and if so, then save it out again under a new name. Then upgrade from 2204 to 2363 and do the same thing. Then upgrade to the current release and you should then be able to use that study collection.
