Trading with IB, I got the symbol 10Y-202212-CBOT-USD-1000
When chart loads, it displays at first an orange box with 'incorrect symbol' message, but then symbol goes away and chart loads... why am I getting this message?

Price chart appearance is 'fractioned' as though with little liquidity... volume chart beneath shows very little volume (much volume than the reported in the CME)

With regards to the orange box, be sure you are on the most recent version of Sierra Chart and that you update your Symbol Settings for the recent changes from IB. Refer to the following to update your Sierra Chart:

The data you have is correct. There is not much liquidity to this instrument. From the CME Group website the total volume for yesterday (November 17, 2022) was 2629.

The Nov contract has higher volume, but checking a bit further, I notice in a quote board that bid and ask come up at zeros

The symbol still is 10Y-202212-ECBOT-USD-1000 NOT 10Y-202212-CBOT-USD-1000. Exchange has not yet changed from ECBOT to CBOT for 10 Yr Micro Treasury Yield.

Also the front month contract with the most volume is Nov: So symbol is 10Y-202211-ECBOT-USD-1000.

I downloaded the latest Sierra version and went through the process, but all my chartbooks are gone and can't re-load them... message I get is:
The Chartbook file is not compatible. Contact Sierra Chart support for help with converting it. File: C:\SierraChart\Data\Mosaic.Cht | 2022-11-18 08:03:49.884 *

You must have been updating from a very old version. Refer to the following for how to get your Chartbooks updated:
