If I Disconnect - Wait (for example 15 minutes) - then Connect -- Those 15 minutes are missing on the restart using release 2453 Interactive Brokers Data feed think problem started when I did a release update (I had not done a release update in quite a while, problem started when I updated to release 2451) is there some parameter that I need to update somewhere to get all the data from where it stopped when I disconnected |

You need to download the stable IB TWS Latest Version 10.20.1c or later. This will fix your historical data download issue.

I was having the same issues with missing intra day data with IB. After following the suggested Symbol update procedure. I started getting error messages to update currency settings on each chart for stocks. Apparently there are issues in the current version causing this. Went back to version 2416 and every thing seems to be working fine.

IB changed the way they format their date/time strings for data download around mid September 2022. Sierra Chart made changes to their software in response to this. So unless you download the stable IB TWS Latest Version 10.20.1c or later and the latest SC Version, you will not be able to download historical intraday data for backfill from IB.
