hello

I use the trade copier with almost 0 issues, its great, since the newest update, say i have a limits out on all the charts, i change the main execution chart say from 5 contracts to 3, the limits on the copy charts don't update the change , i have to cancel the limits first and re-submit it.

is there a setting in sierra I'm not clicking on the parent/slave accounts to help with this?

So you are saying the quantity of the Attached Orders are not changing in other accounts? This is not completely clear.

Yes
Say i have a limit order out on the main Chart, if I have say 5 other charts that are a slave to that chart, if I change the limit amount to 3 from 5 contracts, the slave charts do not change with the update, only the master. on the slave charts, the original limits are still there 3 contracts, they don't change to 5.

You actually have to cancel the existing limit, change the amount in the montage window, and resubmit the limit order.
It would be great if you made changes in size to the limit order that it would reflect on all the slave charts, it doesn't. You have to manually cancel the limit, change the size in your trade window, then resubmit. 1 process vs 3. Have a look.
I thought there might be a setting I did not check but there's not.

you know how you can click on the size in the limit order while it sits to be filled and can change the size? that's what I'm doing

We want to understand the relationship between all of these charts. Since master and slave are not terms used by Sierra Chart in this context.

Are these slave charts, charts set to other trading accounts that an order is allocated to?

correct

So i have me main execution chart, say is account 1, enable allocation is turned on, the other accounts are added etc, and the copier for most part works fine.

i have 7 other charts, which "copy" what the main account1 chart does, i only do execution on account1 chart.
everything works fine, EXCEPT when i place a limit out, if i want to change the limit Amount quickly, i click the amount and change it with the "quantity and Price" box, that change i made to the limit on account1, does not reflect on all the other charts, it stays the same.

I have to cancel the main limit order on account1 chart, which cancels all the limits on the other charts, change the size on the limit, and resubmit it. I am hoping that if we make changes on the main execution chart on an existing limit, it would change on all the charts

Other than that it works fine. its the only issue i have come across

This is an old thread. Post #7 as it is described will not be an issue.
