I use SC works with Interactive brokers and trade CAC40. A fixed value 20000 was entered at AA3 and the sell entry condition was AA3<9000 like the attached CAC40.png. Reasonable to say that it should not be triggered but it did when every bar closed. (Servicelog.png is the trade service log in the situation that I set the disable auto trading TRUE to prevent an order sent.) DAX with the same setting in sheet1 is no problem. Could you help me to deal with it ? SC version is 1140 TWS is 9443 |

The appropriate way to do this is to put the 20000 in the H column and then use an absolute reference to it. Here is the documentation for absolute cell references: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Worksheets.html#CellandRangeReferences Otherwise, you are going to get the result you have because the 20000 is not filled down the AA column. You can see your formula is returning TRUE at rows 4 and higher. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. It can work now, thank you. Is there an option to set the absolute reference as a default type? |
