Of course, Thats already done!

You can see in the video that the Dom is working fine, it is attached to the chart!

Orders work in SC sim mode, but as soon as I switch sim mode off and the the funded trader service on, it stops working.

I can send another video, switched to sim mode and it works perfectly....

But we cannot see in the video what the Trade Account is set to on the chart.

Each chart has its own separate Trade Window.

Hi Support

So today I just purchased another Account, but with Leeloo this time, to test the issue again, and as you can see I have the same problem.

Here is a video where you can see the sim mode and the live mode back to back, where I place orders and in sim mode they show on the chart but in Live mode they don't (only on the DOM).

You can see it's the same chart, that is connected to the same Trade Dom.

This new Leeloo account is live for a month, so we can test it, as I have purchased 10 live accounts with it as you can see in the dropdown - so I'll leave one free for testing.

Please let me know something asap.

Many Thanks

It is very very clear from the video, that you are just not changing the Trade Account on the Chart #1.

It has its own account setting. You need to set the account on that chart:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

Be sure to refer to this paragraph in the linked section:

It is essential to make sure you are working with the correct Trade Window for the Chart or Trade DOM. This will be easily identified if it is attached. If it is not attached, then refer to the Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM section for instructions to open the Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM. You may be looking at a Trade Window which is for a different Chart if it is not attached.

Dear support

All I am doing is changing from sim to Live mode - then executing the same trade. (Different order setup, so as not to lose money in live mode)

I scroll over the menu to also show you that 'Order' is selected!

All of the accounts you see in the trade Dom window belong to the 'SAME' Leeloo Bundle, same login details, etc.

I just chose to use Number 1 of the 10 account bundle thats all. These are not 10 different accounts!

How can the same chart and Dom work in sim mode and then not in Live mode?

There are no other DOms in my chart book!

You simply need to follow the instructions here and set the account that you want to display Orders and Positions for on the chart:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

Do not ask us why this and why that. We are not here for that purpose.

Just follow the instructions. Follow the instructions! Set the account. You are not doing that.

Your description in the page you posted is insufficient!

You need to explain that you need to change the account on """BOTH""" the DOM Trade window """AND""" the Chart Trade Window!!!

I understood the Trade Window on my DOM was the same one that was connected to my chart being that the orders showed on my chart in sim mode - why would anyone think any different for live mode!!!

Luckily Bish at The Pit sorted it out for me!

You need to be more user-friendly and intuitive!

The Documentation for selecting the trade account does say this:

It is essential to make sure you are working with the correct Trade Window for the Chart or Trade DOM. This will be easily identified if it is attached. If it is not attached, then refer to the Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM section for instructions to open the Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM. You may be looking at a Trade Window which is for a different Chart if it is not attached.

And the link in the above paragraph links to this:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Each Trade Window is Completely Independent from Others

We will make that more clear in the section we originally linked to about selecting the trade account.

Even in the text you refer to - My Trade window 'IS' actually 'attached' to the DOM, so there was no reason to think another was needed specifically for the chart.

QUOTE: "This will be easily identified if it is attached"

Also it worked in sim mode so it seems it was connected and working properly.

You can see where the confusion comes in.

Its needs to state there are separate trade windows for both the Chart "AND" DOM which "BOTH" need to be configured separately to the same Trade account. And that trade orders on charts in sim mode works globally as standard - if that is the case.

Anyway Thanks for your help!

It is supported to have Trade Windows maintain the same Trade Account. To do this you need to use Trade Window linking . This is explained here:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Each Trade Window is Completely Independent from Others

Ok great!

I'll check it out!

Its worth noting that a few guys on The Pit Discord channel had the same issues, so might be worth mentioning this nuance on the help page relating to 'Orders and positions on charts'

Thx again

Yes we did already update that page:

The Chart or Trade DOM the Trade Window is for, will only show Orders and Positions for the selected Trade Account and Symbol of that Chart or Trade DOM. Understand that each Chart or Trade DOM has its own Trade Window. You have to set the Trade Account correctly for each Chart or Trade DOM you want to see Orders and Positions on.

Much better!

I'll leave it up to you if you wish to mention this nuance is the case in Live mode but in sim mode all orders worked on all dom/charts with the same symbol regardless, etc.... as it was this that fooled me, thinking that it must be connected properly if it works in sim mode.

Anyway much clearer to understand!

I'll post this on the discord for the other guys!

Thanks a lot
