Denali Feed nasdaq rt exchange activated but not real time

Hello, I tried the self help threads for not seeing real time on my denali feed for stocks but none of the advice changed delay. I activated real time nasdaq today. I even tried logging off and on. Thanks

Activating the NASDAQ TotalView exchange should resolve the issue. Since you are still having a problem, then we need to make sure that you are adding the -NQTV suffix to the symbols. This is necessary in order for us to know to give you the data from the NASDAQ TotalView instead of our older U.S. Stock exchange option. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes If the above is not the problem (i.e. you have the -NQTV in your symbols), then we would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog We will then determine what the problem is. I tested the symbol WMT, and the following is a copy of the log below. Thanks for the help in trying to resolve why I am not receiving real time. As an aside, do I have to really add the suffix NQTV every time I enter a new stock symbol to review a chart in real time? It is just not that efficient. The second question that arose for me is I also saw there is documentation on 250 real time security symbols for a cost, but is that a past practice with Sierra Chart Data Exchange that is no longer the case with Denali Data Feed or is this the reason I am having trouble not getting real time data? I did read the documentation you linked me to and I had a third question. The third question is the Nasdaq TotalView doesn't show all of the trades, but only a fraction of the trades, and only the ones traded through Nasdaq??? I use the number/footprint charts and seeing all the orderflow is important to how I view a trade potential. Is there a different data feed that shows all the volume that transacts for stocks? Thanks for help with these three questions. I appreciate it. Everything looks good for the data for WMT-NQTV. Are you still having issues with this symbol and not getting the real-time data? When using the NASDAQ TotalView it is necessary to add the -NQTV in order to get the data from the correct source. We are working on getting the consolidated tape for the NASDAQ TotalView that is part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed, but the work is not yet complete and we can not say exactly when it will be ready. There is the other option of using our Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and activating the U.S. Equities exchange there. That data does give the full consolidated tape, but it does not have Market Depth data. So there is a tradeoff. If you want to setup the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, then follow the instructions at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions Note that with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, you do not add the -NQTV suffix, just use the given exchange symbol (WMT for example). Thanks for clearing up things a bit for me. I now understand I wanted the full consolidated tape for equities through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed over market depth data. But after following setup instructions for Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed I still don't have real time data. I also don't see the [M] indicator next to the symbol in a chart so this could be it in which case the instructions say to notify support because their maybe a symbol mapping issue. I've tried a couple of symbols and none have the [M] indicator, for example AAPL, RBLX, MSFT, so I presume it is across all symbols. The second question I had was can I use Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for my equities and Denali Data Feed for my futures at the same time? Is there a setting where I check things off for this way? Thanks again!

Ah, I just realized there is a $10.50 fee for the exchange on equities to get the consolidated tape and agreements to fill out. sorry... still wondering about using two data feeds at once though, the sierra chart exchange for equities and denali for futures. thanks!

It is not a problem to use both data feeds at the same time. This is why the -NQTV is necessary for the symbols when using the NASDAQ TotalView data on our Denali feed. This separates the data, so if you have the -NQTV, it comes from Denali, and if it does not have -NQTV, then it comes from Sierra Chart.
