Hello friends,
I am struggling in finding a way to set a chasing limit order 5 pips away from most recent higher high or lower low.

Example : Recent higher high is at $100 so I set my buy limit at $95. As long as price stays below or at $100, my limit stays at $95 until it is eventually triggered. If price goes beyond $100, say $102, my limit follows and stays 5 pips away from that new higher high. In that case $97.
The goal is to follow until it is triggered.
Same for a sell. 5 pips above lower low until triggered

Would appreciate any help :)

Thanks a lot !

Have a look at this order type:
Order Types: Limit Chase

There is also this study but it is meant for Attached Orders:

Attached Orders: Study Controlled Targets and Stops

Although the source code of it is provided and can be modified to meet your requirements.

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately the attached orders does not seem to apply to my situation (maybe I should hire someone to code then) and the limit chase, I had already consulted but it does not work. For a mysterious reason it keeps on getting closer and closer to the current price while I wish it stayed 5 pips away from recent higher high or lower low.
Thanks for your reply anyway ;)
