My broker has asked me to contact you about the following:

I currently hold one bracketed (1stop/1target) overnight MNQZ2 position. When I try to modify the bracket orders, I get the following message:

Order does not exist in order list. Event: DTC::ET_ORDER_CANCEL_REPLACE_REJECT. ClientOrderID: XXXXXXX. ServerOrderID: . RejectText: Could not find the Client Order Id | Symbol: (unset) | TradeAccount: XXXXXX | 2022-10-14 07:17:46.240 *

In previous posts, you have helpfully explained the difference between the "Main" and "Targets" tabs and the Time in Force (TIF) settings in these windows, by referring users to: Trading System Based on Alert Condition: Time in Force

Upon entering my current position, the "Target" tab TIF was set to GTC, but the "Main" tab with "Use Attached Orders" ticked, was probably set to Day (I may have changed this later). This may have caused my issue. However: My understanding from SC's user documentation quoted above is that the "Main" tab in the Trade Window is the relevant one. If this is not set to GTC, but Day, then the orders should be cancelled by the next day. And yet, I can still see the bracket orders, I just cannot modify them. My broker can also see them.

Would you perhaps be able to help me be able to modify my bracket orders?

This is going to be a Rithmic issue.

We really recommend using Teton order routing instead of Rithmic for trading CME Group:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

You do want to set the Time in Force for the Attached Orders to be Good till Canceled. It does not matter the Time in Force for the parent order if it has already filled.

The only thing we can recommend is reconnecting to the data feed:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

To refresh the order list.

My understanding was that SC still supports Rithmic? Please let me know if that is not the case.

Given what you have written, is it correct to assume that if I enter other bracketed GTC positions overnight, that I will be unable to modify the brackets in SC?

--> For any other users in a similar position reading this: You can likely modify your orders using R Trader, manually, as a last resort.

Teton is sadly currently not available for EUREX products. I also trade EUREX products. Hence, I need Rithmic.

Lastly, my FCM/broker does not currently support Teton.

Given the above, would the only way to fix the problem for me be to stop using Sierra Chart?

No this is definitely not true:

There should not be any problem like this but apparently Rithmic is having some issue regarding this. We are not sure why.

You can use Teton for CME group and then use Rithmic or CQG for EUREX.

I have contacted Rithmic:

So you see the orders as open in Sierra Chart but cannot modify it?
If so please ask the sierra chart support to look at the issue and if they think it is a Rithmic issue, please ask them to send us the details of the issue so i can look into it.

Would Sierra Chart perhaps be able to get in touch with Rithmic, as they request, and update?

Should other users have the same issue: Modification via R Trader works and effected changes are subsequently shown in Sierra Chart. Only modifications of orders via SC do not work.

Many thanks for your assistance.

Update from my side - a Rithmic support team member told me:

I am able to reproduce this issue. I will also reach out to Sierra Chart regarding this issue.

Fingers crossed that whatever the cause, this issue can be fixed soon. It does, after all, affect a core function.
