I am using a chartbook with 20 Forex charts. - Use number of days to load - limiting to 3 days only as seen in the screenshot. Some of the charts work all right. But others will not obey the 3 days limit but start with the date in the "Date Range in File" field - from April to October. This is soooo annoying. How can this be changed? |

There are two possible things that we can think of. One of them is that when you first open a chart it is going to load the number of days of historical data that is set to download in general. Refer to the following setting: Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings) The second item this could be related to is that if you are not forcing a reload of the chart (either manually, or by logging off each night) then a chart will continue to show all the data from when it was first instantiated. In other words, if you keep your charts open all the time, the number of days displayed will continue to grow. You can easily resolve this by closing the chartbook and reopening it, or by reloading the chart itself (if there is only a few to do). Otherwise, as long as the parameters are set correctly in the Chart Settings, you should only be getting the number of days listed.
