Hello, I’ve created a sub instance to run a dom. How can I get the trades to appear on the main instance charts. I have chart trade enabled and show trades...it works on the main instance fine. Not sure how to connect them. I’ve been reading the help sections, but can’t seem to get it. Thank you.

There really is nothing special you need to do. If this is for live trading, then just make sure that the sub-instance is not in Simulation mode ("Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" does not have a checkmark next to it) and that the the sub-instance has the correct Trading Account selected. Refer to the following for how to select the trading account: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) You might also want to set the following setting to Yes: Global Trade Settings Windows: Select Non-Sim Trade Account on Entering Non-Sim Mode in SubInstances (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General) If this is for simulated trading, then the trick is that the sub-instance needs to not be in Simulation mode, but you need to select the Sim account that you want to use. This way the orders are sent to the main instance which is in Simulation Mode. Refer to the Second Method at the following: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Simulated Trading in a Sub Instance For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
