I am unable to color bar based on study/price overlay study. I am able to get the other chart on my main chart using the overlay but I am unable to get my bars to color. The periods are both 5 min charts so not sure if that's the issue. I've read the documentation on price/overlay but it's not clear.

My overlay is #1.ID:2 when I open the study settings but it's ID:2 in my chart studies ranking. Is there a way to reference the Overlay?

We do not quite follow exactly what is occurring, but from what we see, it looks like you are overlaying the entire set of bars from other symbols to this chart. The better way to do this is to use the Add Additional Symbol study. This is a much cleaner method.

Then, you can reference the Open, High, Low, or Close of that symbol for your Color Bar Based on Alert condition by referencing the subgraphs for the particular item.

What you were doing should work, at least from what we understand, but again, the Add Additional Symbol is a less intensive method for doing the same thing.
