Hi, I'm just getting started with Sierra Chart, so please excuse the probably basic question/s. Is there a way to set up a pivot point line based on "(high + low) / 2"? I actually want to make zones based on the standard PP calculation for a 4 hour PP and this level, but two independent lines will suffice to get going. I have looked through the PP docs, but can't see anything that's quite right. Thanks, -Chris |

If you can not find a Pivot Point calculation that does what you want, then you would have to create it yourself. It would not be hard to do, as you would need a Daily Chart (assuming you want the previous day High/Low) and then you could use the Arithmetic Studies, the Spreadsheet Study or the Spreadsheet Formula study. Refer to the following for the Pivot Point calculations: Pivot Points: Formula Types And refer to the following: Using the Basic Arithmetic Studies Spreadsheet Formula Overview of Spreadsheet Studies For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
