Any possibility you could improve the following? 1)the number of simple alerts you can put on one study. For example: if you want to put 1 stochastic cross up and 1 stochastic cross down alert on 20 charts, you have to put the Slow Stochastic study twice on each chart --> which becomes forty studies. If you add other studies with alerts on each of the charts then you quickly enter into a hundred or more studies. Can anybody say "computer resources"? Why not just add another simple alert box or two for each study? In response to this, you will say: I can make a simple alert that includes all of these at once (using the OR function), The problem with that is that when the alert comes through to the alert manager it spews a long stream saying that one of the four has been met, and you have to go the chart to figure out which one it is. Which takes time...with twenty or more instruments going off simultaneously or in close groupings it can get confusing and difficult to keep track of--and I have several hundred instruments open in different time frames and chartbooks. Also, to help with that, two more requests: 2)an ability to edit the alert messages, shorten, curtail them, customize them 3)a sort function added to the alert manager, so you can order them by time/date/instrument/alert type, etc. I'm glad you added the alert manager, I just feel it's not finished yet. |
