Can Chart Drawing Alerts in a chart be enabled in a Slave chart that copies drawings?

I trade equities and am usually tracking 20-30 US stocks. I like to have many small windows open off the side to keep an eye on things. Since the windows need to be small, I find it easier to set them to be "slaves" by setting them all to copy chart drawings from 1 large master chart. This way, I can make my drawings for all the symbols I trade in a central large master chart, and these drawings will reproduce per symbol on the slave charts. The problem I am having is when I use the master chart to set alerts for a line drawing of a particular symbol, the alert will only trigger if the symbol is currently entered in the master chart. If I enter a symbol in a slave chart (with the master chart being set to a different symbol), I will see the relevant copied chart drawings on the slave but get no alert. However, if (on the slave chart) I right click a line drawing (that was copied from the master chart) and select "Alerts" it does bring up a Chart Drawing Alert window with the same settings I would see on the master chart. Can the chart drawing alerts from a "Master" chart be made to work on "Slave" charts that copy drawings? |
