Hello SC Team, For those of us who color code everything, the context menu drop down for colors 1-8 really helps a lot. I use certain colors for the Higher Time Frame chart markups, then separate colors for Mid Time Frames and likewise for Lower Time Frames. I have been trying to find a shortcut for the context menu items 1-6, but perhaps it doesn't exist or I'm simply missing it. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction? If this feature doesn't exist, it would be wonderful to add it. Thanks so much! Mike T Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-07-30 03:24:46

There is not a shortcut option for the Color options in the context menu. But, refer to the following for how to define a Control Bar button that can set the drawing tool and configuration at the same time, so you can set the colors to be different in separate configurations. This may make it easier for you: Chart Drawing Tools: Creating Control Bar Buttons which Select Drawing Tool and Drawing Tool Configuration in One Step For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you John! I will use that. I currently have several toolbars with unique tool configurations. The shortcut for the colors would be helpful in some future release, if that is possible. Let's say you are using a mouse with extra buttons assigned to certain tools. I may have rectangle, line, extended rectangle, etc. If there were other buttons for blue, red, yellow, etc, it would allow me to use all the combinations of tools/color with just a fraction of the buttons needed. Thanks for your continued support in making this program more and more user friendly! Mike T |
