I noted in the server settings help that setting the Remote Buffer Delay Send Time to 0 uses the default setting. Sierra Chart Server Settings: Remote Buffer Delay Send Time In Milliseconds (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> General) However, there's no info on what the default is, whether it's a standard setting for every installation of Sierra, or whether a default value is calculated based on how a given installation is configured. Is there any info on this somewhere? The fastest chart update interval in any of my chartbooks is 100 milliseconds. Is it most efficient for me to set the buffer to match that or just leave it at 0? |

The default is 80 ms and controlled from the server. We would recommend just leaving the default of 0.

Hello, would having a chart update interval (ms) set to a number that is lower than the Remote Buffer Delay (ms) be a "waste"?
