I have my DOM set up with "Bid Size/Buy Column" and "Ask Size/Sell Column" I also have the "Show Volume Bars" set to Auto. (See enclosed) For some reason, the volume bars expand, contract and expand quickly - without a significant change in the Bid or Ask amounts. What causes this fluctuation and how can I stabilize it? |

There can be large orders sitting very far off from what you can see on the screen that are impacting the size of the bars.

There is not a way to filter the data in the DOM Columns. You can, however, limit the number values that are displayed, refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Maximum Market Depth Levels (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
