Hi - Today is a Monday, and I would like to right align a volume profile on my chart, with Value Area and PoC, which calculates these figures on the 5 days already ended. This means that it would account for Monday-Friday of last week, as opposed to the last 5 days up until this current moment (today, Monday). I've tried this all morning using the VbP Study, and it seems like the "One period at end of fixed time length" is not working to do this, so I thought "One Period from Most Recent Period Start to End" would work. I have "Time Period Type for 'Fixed Time'" set at Days and "Time Period Length for 'Fixed Time'" set at 5. Is there a way that I can get the system to recognize that I only want to calculate UP TO the last 5 days that have already ended? For reference, last week's weekly profile shows a volume Value Area High of 4010 and low of 3925. I have attached an image what my current study shows. |

To get a specific 5 days, you would have to use one of the options that let's you define the particular time period you want. For instance, using a Volume Graph Period Type of From Start Date-Time + Fixed Time Length. Thanks. However, rather than a specific 5 days, I am looking to always have the last 5 days, ended the previous trading session. Another way of asking this same question is are you able to overlay an intraday bar chart with a TPO/VbP that looks back at the previous 5 sessions, excluding the current trading session? |

There is not an option to have the last 5 days ignoring the current day. Therefore, the only option would be to specify a specific time frame. Also, there is not an option for overlaying TPO/VbP graphs. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
