For some reason my "Minimum Market by Order Quantity" custom value stopped working and I now get all the MBO orders listed on my DOM. I upgraded to the latest version and still have the issue which started a week or so ago. Thanks for your time and effort.

If this is a Sub-Instance, then the Sub-Instance is going to use the settings from the main Instance.

This is a Sub-Instance, but it and the main instance are set to the same (Minimum Market by Order Quantity) value of 10. Neither has any effect, except when I initially connect to the data feed for a short time and then it looks like it defaults back to zero... Again, thank you for your time and effort.

I have the same issue, and I noticed it about the same time. I thought it might be some settings I had changed, but I reverted most of those I recalled, yet the problem still occurs.

Let's concentrate on the Main instance first. Is the value in the Symbol Settings actually changing? And do you have the option on the Symbol Settings for Use Custom Symbol Settings Values enabled?

Yes, I have set the correct values. This was all working fine a week or two ago. Here is a screenshot demonstrating the settings that are actually in effect, as well as a market order column showing orders of 3, 4, 6, etc. even though the "minimum market by order quantity" is set to 10.

Are you using a Trade and Current Quote Symbol? If you are, and the option for Use as Trade Only Symbol is set to No, then the depth data will be for the entered Trade and Current Quote Symbol, so you need to ensure that you have also set that symbol to have a Minimum Market by Order Quantity.

Yes, I can change the symbol settings and I do have the USE Custom Symbol Setting Value enabled.

I am not using Trade and current quote symbol... Symbol = ESU22_FUT_CME, Trade and Current Quote Symbol and Use AS Trade Only are blank...

Could it be the reason this quit working initially was that I was running version 2355? I am on the current version and it seems that the 1st instance DOM is now working correctly... But now the issue is with my 2nd or sub-instance DOM, which is the one I use to trade. The MBO data is showing everything...

I am not using "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" either.

Just to clear things up using the latest SC version... The "Minimum Market by Order Quantity" custom value set works with the 1st instance, but not on a 2nd instance. As you said earlier the Symbol Settings/Use Custom Symbol Settings Values enabled use to control the MBO values in first, second and additional instances, but that doesn't seem to work as of the last week or so. It's hard for me to determine exactly when this happened because I was off for a week and it was working before. I have set Symbol Settings/MBO values for the 2nd instance with no effect... it still displays all MBO data. MY workaround for now has been to change up my CHART instances, but would really like to find the cause of this issue. Again, thanks for your time and effort.

Sorry to ask this again, but just need to verify. In the Sub-Instance are you using a Trade and Current Quote Symbol?

Yes this is true:
he "Minimum Market by Order Quantity" custom value set works with the 1st instance, but not on a 2nd instance
This setting only works in the main instance of Sierra Chart. Not a sub instance.

This is Sub-instance 2 and I put 2 DOMs up one with and one without. The pic shows the chart settings...
I also included the Symbol Settings for the 1st instance. The 2nd instance Symbol Settings are set the same even though that shouldn't matter.

The "Minimum Market by Order Quantity" custom value set worked with the 2nd instance up until a week or so ago. I've been using it every since I upgraded to the MBO data and it has been very useful. As you can see by the pics, without being able to set minimum MBO quantity the data become overwhelming and almost useless. It's crazy now that you can't set this. Is it something that you folks are going to look at in the future? Again, I want to thank you for the time...

We cannot reproduce this problem shown in post #15. Either in the main instance or the sub instance. The minimum quantity of 10 works properly.

Try reconnecting to the data feed in the main instance of Sierra Chart:

Actually we do observe the problem. We need to look into this. Must be related to a server update.

This is not a server-side issue. It affects a sub instance only. This will be solved in the next release. But you will need to set the minimum market by order quantity, in a sub instance.

Unfortunately that does not work. I have set the Minimum Market by order Quantity to 9 on both the main and sub-instance and as you can see the DOM is still giving me all the MBO data. Please see the attached pic...

I am not using a sub-instance of SC, am not using "Trade and Current Quote Symbol", have disconnected / reconnected many times, and still see the problem as shown in the screenshot attached to post #6.

I downloaded the pre-release 2420 and MBO/Symbol set is working on both the 1st and 2nd Instances. Thank you so much!!! If you still feel the need to use the remote assistance I will make myself available (916) 215-7284, but as far as I am concerned the issue is resolved...

Again thank you for your time and assistance!!!

If it is working that is good. That is all we need to know. We are all set on our side and no need for the remote assistance session.
