Directed to Sierra Chart Staff -

Is there a reason you have not implemented this study into your platform? SC seems to be the elite traders platform. But you guys don't have a pretty simple study that a lot of other platforms have and is commonly used. Why is this? Just curious.. Maybe it's too hard for you guys to do or something. What do I know.

You can set a Start Date and Time for the VWAP study. Refer to the information here:
Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) with Standard Deviation Lines: Inputs
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

That is not anchored vwap my man but it's cool. You guys don't want to implement it understood. Would be nice to have it but oh well.

Not a native Sierra Chart study, but there is an anchored vwap study available in the User Contributed studies - ECIVwapAnchorV1.5.

I've tried using the ECIVwapAnchor.

I added to my chart. Then right mouse click selected the anchor vwap but it doesn't seem like it is working. Would you have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks
J

You could use Tools / Draw Volume Profile, with VWAP visible.

I use UP_BAVWAP as my point and click anchored vwap from user contributed studies. Much cleaner and faster than the ECI one IMO.

Start type must be set to "Mouse anchor" then go up and set input data to what youd like, HLC3, high, or low. I opened a blank chart, no studies. Add it twice, Set one up as a anchored high, and one as low. I turn off all dev bands with "IGNORE" in the subgraph pane so only the input vwap i want is showing. THen save both as a study group as Anchored high low vwap. Now whenever i add it they both are on there and i right click and choose which i want to anchor from there, high or low. takes about 10min to set it all up.
