Hi... is there a way to replace a study so that it has the same ID#. For instance, you may have a study on a (master) chart and using the study/price overlay you can carry it across to other charts. The overlay function works by referencing the ID# on the (master) chart. But what if I want to replace that study but keep the ID# so as to ensure a smooth change across the chartbook?

When a study is added, its ID# will be the lowest unassigned number. So make sure there are no lower numbered IDs that are lower than the study you want to replace. If there are, add bogus studies to fill the gaps. Then Remove the study you want to replace, and add the study you want to replace it with, and it will have the same ID#. |

Hehehe.... thanks, Tom. That's a possibility and a very SC way of dealing with an issue.
