hello, is it possible to somehow fix price action LEFT SIDED from the daily Volume by Price? i know there is a function LOCK FIL SPACE but it locks both the price action and the Volume by Price from the right line. i need them to be separated so that i could see the price action.. viz screenshot Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-05-05 18:32:11

Yes this is possible and it is documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.html#RightAligning Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. well, ok, but this is not actually what i need because i DO NOT use single profile but MULTIPLE VOLUME PROFILEX FIXED BY TIME (DAY AND NIGHT SESSIONS SEPARATED). i know it is possible to make it this way on the SINGLE PROFILE, but i would need it my Multiple Profiles as well.. is it possible? The instructions are still valid. What you need to do is add space on the right side of the chart and this is specifically documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_WorkingWithCharts.html#ScrollingTheChart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. mmmm... either i am totaly stupid or you dont understand what i mean.. the point is when i move the chart to the left, it moves WITH the daily volume profile - http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1399496763445.png this is how it looks withouth daily volume profile when i move it left - http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1399496827391.png - and i wished the daily volume profile were fixed at the right line just as it is when i use one single volume profile (that is set as VISIBLE BARS) - http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1399496968293.png but i cant make it possible with volume profile that is set as MULTIPLE PROFILES FIXED BY TIME where the days and nights are separated, just like here - http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1399496763445.png so.. am i so stupid? We have looked into this. And the documentation missed one setting. It has been added and updated here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.html#RightAligning Be sure to reload that page in your browser for the updated documentation. User30743, I am wondering how you placed those numbers at the lows and highs of the number bars on your charts. I tried the setting for Value on High but it places it over the highlow of the number bar and is not readable. thanks very much |
