Hi, 1-TPO chart settings : 8:30-15:14:59 (CT) (Session only) 2 -Merge 1st opening TPO with any TPO of the previous session 3- Issue : if the TPOs are set to 30mn or above, it works. 4-If the TPO setup is below 30mn, it doesn't : the new opennig TPO (let's say 5mn, for instance) lasts forever. Thanks a lot for your kind attention, Regards. |

We are not able to reproduce this with a 15 minute or 5 minute TPO Sub-Period length. Can you please give us an image of what you mean by "the new opening TPO (let's say 5mn, for instance) lasts forever." Follow these instructions to attach an image: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#PostingAnImage Also, attach a chartbook containing the chart for which you can reproduce this issue. Refer to the following for how to do this: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1656436690875.png As you can see here between the two vertical lines : -TPO : 1mn Profile : 5mn -The last profile starts at 16:25 -The very first TPO of the new session has been merged with this profile -As you can see, the study doesn't produce a new TPO every minute, as it should. -With a 30mn TPO chart (instead of lower value), it does the job. Thanks. |

The problem is that you are merging profiles across a break in the time. Therefore, when you merge those profiles, the time for the period starts at 16:25, but the session times end at 16:29:59 and the data from the merged period is outside of the session times, so all the data gets squished into a single period to fit in at the end of the session time. You do not see this with a Daily TPO, since you are merging two profiles that cover the same time period. You also will not see this issue if you merge two profiles that are both contained within the session times (like 10:25 and 10:30). In other words, you can't do what you are trying to do, the system is not setup to handle it.
