I had success with improving performance on Trade DOM using a separate instance I wanted to set up a third instance to set up a Chart DOM I had my task manager open during this process As each instance opened the CPU's were extremely high during startup process but then came down to a low level The third instance remained high even if chartbooks were closed ? Why do you think this is ? Is there an issue opening more than 2 instances ? It looks like you should be able to open up to 7 I did not notice any performance issue but wanted to get your thoughts regarding this before going down a path and having a problem Also i am not sure why these instances are labelled (2), (2) and (3) see attached Thank you Steven Leon |

We do not know what the issue is. We can only refer you to: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often You are best able to diagnose this on your side. I had two related questions to the CPU question: 1)In File explorer - What is the name of Instance 1 ? Is it SierraChartInstance_2 ? then What is the name of the main instance in File Explorer ? 2) What i noticed is that the last instance to load is the one the has the higher CPU usage, whether its the one that is selected or not. The other instances then drop down in their CPU to very low. I am just looking for a confirmation from you or any other comments you might have. Thank you |

1. Is it SierraChartInstance_2 ? Yes.What is the name of the main instance in File Explorer ? The main instance is located in the folder you installed SierraChart to.2. We cannot comment on this without careful observation of what is happening.
