hello, currently, I am using CQG data from broker AMP where I have a trading account, but because Sierra will no longer support that, I am looking at how to set up the Denali feed. Because the documentation is sprinkled around many places and all seems overwhelming, I would like to ask you for help. When I look at this page Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: Sierra Chart Software Instructions* I don't understand what the points 6] and/or 7] really mean. It says something about "integrating with trading service" (what is it?) and I can see these options (see the screen). I don't know which one to pick? I cant see CQG or AMP or anything that matters for me Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-06-24 13:26:01

You leave the Current Selected Service alone. It should be set to CQG WebAPI from when you made your connection to CQG. You do not need to change this. The only thing that you might change is the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds, which will need to be set to Yes. If you do need to change this, then be sure to select OK to close that window then select File >> Disconnect followed by File >> Connect to Data Feed. Otherwise, just continue through all of the setup instructions and you should be fine. hmm.. ok. i seem to be connected to Denali because i can see [M] in the charts - but it is 10 minutes delayed. BTW - regarding the CQG - I plan to completely stop using the CQG data feed provided by the AMP broker once I properly set up Denali. In that case, what will I specify as the Current Selected Service? CQG will no longer be available once I stop paying for it i guess. |

You will stop the data from CQG, but not the order routing. So you will still connect to CQG for your service, but your data will come from us. You are getting delayed streaming data at this time because you have not activated any exchanges. You can activate the exchanges at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

1. This is explained here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections 2. Yes you do need to contact your broker and let them know you no longer require market data from CQG and do not want to pay market data exchange fees. The error message you are getting is from CQG. Refer to the information here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CQGTrading.php#CommonErrorMessage_TooManyLogonAttempts In that section about connecting 2 computers concurrently, it tells you that to do this, you need to set the option for 2 systems, which will mean that you are then paying for the exchange fees twice, as this is how the exchange requires it.
