Hello, I recently installed a new instance of SC (version 2400). I had been using version 2390 before and found that now when I do a chart replay, the update interval updates at about 1000ms, instead of 50ms like I have it set to in General Settings. This happens with all replay modes. Thoughts? |

After further inspection I discovered that this only occurs if the data files are downloaded with the 2400 client. If I let the 2390 client download the files, the chart update interval works fine in both versions. I also noticed that when I let the 2400 client download the data, the data files load 20x faster. I don't know if there is a data setting I missed somewhere with the new install?

Are you referring .scid file? If so, did you get a chance to compare the sizes of .scid files downloaded in v.2390 and v.2400?

Based upon everything you are saying the issue must have to do with the historical data timeframe. Sounds like you are receiving 1 second data. Set Sierra Chart to a Tick by Tick Data Configuration. Yep, that was it. I set it to 1 tick and then deleted all the data and redownloaded it. Thanks!

Hello Engineering team, I verified through this link Tick by Tick Data Configuration that my data records are stored as 1 tick, and to perform replays ive changed my global chart update setting to 10ms, however when I do replays, the market data columns are updated in real time, however a 10ms renko chart is only updates every 1000ms. Im running version 2568 rev 48235 |

At the time you notice this you need to look at the intraday data: however a 10ms renko chart is only updates every 1000ms.
Instructions:Intraday Data Editor And see if there is more than one trade per second. Otherwise, it is not making sense to us. We notice no such problem at all and it makes no technical no sense for you to see what you see, as long as there are multiple trades per second. Hello thank you for the reply, This was my mistake, on another thread I saw that switching to Teton Order routing while doing replays fixes this issue, and this issue is caused by Rithmic ref Market replay with real-time updates | Post: 360032 Thank you for your help |
