FTSE100 data not coming through

i track this but this last few days the feed isnt coming through.

CFD-FXCM

all the others do just the FTSE.

Any ideas why?

It is a public holiday in UK today and tomorrow, so no FTSE trading.

yeah im aware of the holiday. but it only shows historical for the daily and it ends on 31st dec 2020

Did you try delete and download data?
I have both historical and intraday data up to yesterday close.

yes i have tried that. I also deleted the scid files incase they were corrupt and it hasnt downloaded new ones.

i must say im not a fan of the new F5 tabs.

Ive been through them all and there is nothing called Advanced settings as shown in your link.

however i have enabled 'show rollover dates'
and reset the scales too.

as you see there is no data showing for uk100

im no stranger as you know to your charting package. i track the uk100 all the time. im just flummoxed why i cant open it anymore.

File>New/Open intraday chart does show a scid for uk100 but it doesnt open it when selected. it is very small too at 56B

Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download".

After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

i reinstalled a new copy of SC on my t7 drive, copied all my folders and all data is coming in now. UK100 data working all fine.
sorry i couldnt wait on your reply and figured like windows problems i cant solve - a reinstall often is the best use of time. perhaps you can glean as to why the problem occured reading the log file that may help someone else

This would most likely be caused by a firewall on your computer. Not the Windows firewall though.

Everything updates though. it was just uk100. i take it fxcm pulls that data via a different route. This doesnt make sense. Why only uk100.
I do run a software VPN - have done for 15 years and never had this problem. if it happens again i will try the suggestion you gave.

We can only answer that there was a connectivity problem to the historical data server. That is very clear from the Log.
