I am working with the VBP using "Volume Bar Calculation Method" as "Diagonal - Ask Volume - Bid Volume" The histogram uses some blue bars, the meaning of which escapes me. In an effort to figure it out, I tried to toggle all the blue Subgraphs to determine what the blue bars might represent. to no avail. I can see the bid/green and ask/red bars. May I ask what the blue bars in the histogram represent? (See enclosed) |

There are 3 items that make up a bar in the Volume by Price study. First is the blue bar that you see that is defined by the Input for Volume Bar Calculation Method. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Volume Bar Calculation Method The other two items are the Bid and the Ask information as defined by Input for Bid Volume Ask Volume Coloring Method. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
