I am trying to get a buy signal on a daily chart when RSI crosses the bottom line, bottom line is set at 10, from above. Can CROSSFROMABOVE be used for this? It is not a range but one line crossing another. This =CROSSFROMABOVE(ID6.SG5@3,ID6.SG7@3) did not work, ID6.SG5 is the RSI Connor line and ID6.RG7 is the bottom RSI line it crosses. I assume you are using a study and not a spreadsheet. CROSSFROMABOVE(ID6.SG5,ID6.SG7) You might want to read the documentation also. Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Alert Formula Examples Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-30 14:25:40

Alert syntax is different than spreadsheet syntax for the CROSSFROMABOVE function: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SpreadsheetFunctions.html#CROSSFROMABOVE_Function |
