ufff.. other tons of documentation I dont have time to read - i don't use SC anymore but my dad is, and he does not speak English .. so is this that u will no longer support the datafeed CQG ? u say it is in order to reduce cost but it will actually rise the costs at the end.. |

Yes and the Support Board post we have linked to above does link to the instructions for that. Here they are: To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link. Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. u say it is in order to reduce cost but it will actually rise the costs at the end.. Not if you move to Teton Order Routing. Depending upon the amount of trading you do, you will have a savings, or very minimal cost increase like a few dollars a month. And with the very low price of Sierra Chart and inflation, effectively there really is no price increase at all and for many users a substantial savings. Are you trading CME Group or EUREX or some other exchange?
i am not really treading now, as i say, i don't use SC anymore, but my father does on my account.. and yes, he is trading CME only. if you say it better to move to some other data provider and change routing then we will eventually have to do it, but I am not a too much into it because from my previous experience all these changes and new settings in sierra are pretty complicated. Only the mere documentation is very hairy. I am not a fan of it |

You are able to connect, but you cannot access the real-time data from CQG for CME and EUREX in the newer versions. For this you need to use the Denali Data Feed. To get around this and use the data from CQG go back to version 2393. Instructions: Software Download: Software Rollback Procedure AMP will be supporting Teton within 60 days we expect , so you can then transition to that.
