hi I have been using SC for years now and never had an issue with downloading too much data. I am scanning markets on a daily basis but now I am reaching that (new?) 30000 limit in the 4th week of the month. It seems excessive to have so many downloads as lots of charts that I am using are historical intraday data charts. Is there a way to monitor which specific downloads are counting towards that limit so I can limit them? I have more than 15 chartbooks open at the same time so it is difficult to understand where those downloads are coming from. Also could you consider raising the limit to 40000 downloads / month which I am sure most users who scan futures markets would be fine(r) with? Thanks for your support. |

Does not make sense you would be encountering this limit with Intraday data for futures. Tell us one of the symbols this is occurring with. As of today I can not download historical data anymore. Example weekly charts of ZFU22-CBOT. I really would like to know which downloads contributed to the 30000 downloads so I can adjust them next month, otherwise I will have to buy the monthly add-on every month which increases costs of SC quite a bit. As I said I never had a problem with downloads before that. Can you consider raising the limit to 40000? thank you.

It is historical Daily and higher timeframe charts which contribute to the limit. However, in the case of continuous contract charts, the prior contracts in those charts, once the data is downloaded will not be downloaded again. You can see all of the historical data downloads, in the Window >> Message Log. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thank you. Can you confirm that historical daily and higher timeframe charts of forex charts (eg GBPCAD) are excluded from the limit?
