Hi, I noticed that the keys that I have assigned as a keyboard shortcut do no longer work in the search textfield in the chart settings dialog. I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, or if this is a bug in Sierra Chart, but I can reproduce this issue as follows: (i) Assign any key as keyboard shortcut (e.g. I have assigned the key "R" to "Tools > Extending Rectangle") (ii) Open the Chart Settings dialog of any chart (iii) Click into the search textfield and type any search text (iv) Result: Any key that is assigned as a keyboard shortcut is not typed into the textfield when pressed. Instead, the command is executed on the associated chart window (e.g. in my case when I type "R" into the search textfield nothing is inserted but when I close the chart settings dialog the "Extending Rectangle" tool is activated instead because it is assigned to this key) My current workaround for this is to type search texts into an external text editor first and then copy the complete text into the Sierra Chart search field. However, this makes the usage of the search field quite cumbersome, so any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. |
