Update to New Version Changes Settings

Hi SC Support, If I am not mistaken ever since v1125, it seems that an update to newer versions via Help|Download Current Version causes some settings to be changed. What I notice particularly are Chart Settings on: 1. Use evening session 2. Load weekend data Before the update I have both of these settings ticked (activated) but after the update they become unticked. Please kindly look into this and ensure that future updates don't change any settings. Thank you. |

We assume you already know this, but just for reference make sure your charts are saved by saving them as a Chartbook: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Chartbooks.html These settings will be saved and restored. We just did a test now updating from version 1123 to 1128 and the settings were saved as expected. As long as the Chartbook is saved, the settings will be restored as they previously were at the time of them being saved. There have not been any changes with those settings recently that would ever cause them to not be saved. If anyone else notices a problem as described let us know. But we would expect not. Yes, they are saved as Chartbooks and the thing is that I have never encountered this problem before, only with the recent updates. |
