I am using Text Display for Study to display a subgraph value on my chart. Selecting the auto-coloring option of "Based on +/-" does not have any effect. Instead, the two user-selected colors change the foreground and background of the displayed text. Is it possible to work around this to color the study text based on plus/minus? |

You can not get the study to color using the Based On options. In the end, what is put on the screen is a drawing tool and therefore these items do not apply. What you could do is use two instances of the Spreadsheet Formula where one outputs the value when it is positive (otherwise 0) and the other outputs the value when it is negative (otherwise 0). The formula for the positive situation would look like the following: =IF(ID1.SG1 > 0, ID1.SG1, 0) You would then use 2 instances of the Text Display for Study where one references the Positive Spreadsheet Formula and is the color you want for positive values and the other references the Negative Spreadsheet Formula and is the color you want for negative. You would have two items on the screen and one would always be showing 0.00, but you could get the coloring this way.
