I cannot connect CQG data to SC

Hello,

I cannot connect CQG data to Sierra. It shows invalid password or username. My login details are correct. What else can I do? Can I ask for a remote support? I have temaviewer.

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Connect to the data feed:

Select "File >> Disconnect"

Select "File >> Connect to Data Feed"

After about 30 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.

This is what we see:

CQG WebAPI | Logon unsuccessful. Server message: Username or password is incorrect. | 2022-05-06 10:53:50.949

To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions.


Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

Press "OK"

And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service.

Do I have a delay in the data feed? I bought it data from CQG/COMEX. On MT for gold is going up and on Sierra is going down.

What is the reason?

Sorry, regarding my prevous post, I bought data from AMP. I bought CQG/Comex. Gold price goes up on my MT4 platform wherease in SC goes down? Do I have a delay on data feed?

If you cannot connect to CQG, and have follow the instructions in post #4 to connect to SC Data-All Services until you can solve the CQG connection problem, then in your case to data will be delayed by 10 minutes.

How can I solve the CQG-data connection? With whom? AMP checked and said that everything is fine on their side. Now you who can support me on this issue. Please - can we schedule a remote support? It will take probably a few minutes and this will be solved.

You definitely do not need our help, to enter the username or password. You can do this. The instructions are here:

I have provided the correct CQG login and password - the details I have received from AMP. And I have an error. Cannot log in.

Could you support me on this please? To resolve it. The best way is to use the remote support.
