I have read the post about how tool settings did not work on detached charts and that was fixed. That's not my issue.
They work fine on my detached charts as long as they are in the same chartbook where I initiated the settings.

When I go to another chartbook, the settings are not effective on any chart (detached or attached).

Yet when I go to the tool settings, they are same as where I set them for the chartbook in which the setting were initiated.

I have downloaded latest version and tried previous version to no avail.

Can you please give us one setting in particular for which you are having an issue and exactly the workflow to reproduce the issue you are seeing.

I have these settings for tool settings under global settings and they only work in the chart book created them in.

I create a new chart in another chartbook and I click on global setting and tool setting while new chart is active and

the settings are set the same as in the other chartbook that you see in the photo, but they don't work. I open chart settings for the new chart and Click the symbol tab and find the "apply global settings" tab and double click on it turns brown and a asterisk appears for a second next to (button) and disappears and ultimately the setting don't take effect on the new chart.

First of all, the Chart Settings >> Apply Global Symbol Settings are to apply Symbol Settings to the chart. It has nothing to do with Tool settings.

With regards to the Tool settings, can you please select one of the items that is not working properly in the new Chartbook and tell us which setting it is, and how it works in the one chartbook and then how it is not working in the other chartbook.

the settings I sent you in the tool settings picture allow me to left click and become a hand that can move the chart vertically and horizontally where ever I want, and when I let go of left click it automatically reverts to pointer again.

We are not able to reproduce this. Here is what we tried:
- In Tool Settings, set After Single Tool Use Change To to Hand.
- In Chartbook1, select the Line tool and draw a line. When the line is finished, the Hand tool is now active and stays active.
- In Chartbook2, the Pointer is selected by default, so we select the Line tool and draw a line. When the line is finished, the Hand tool is now active and stays active.

We need to understand if your workflow is different from the above, and if so, exactly how is it different. We need to be able to reproduce the issue in order to be able to fix it.
