Can i trade SPY options with Sierra Chart?

I'd like to switch from interactive brokers since they wont let me trade options. Can i trade options on Sierra chart? If so what service packages and data feeds do i need for SPY options trading?

You can trade options through Interactive Brokers. Should be no trouble at all. You can also trade them through Sierra Chart when using Interactive Brokers but the symbology can be difficult to work with. Ok, Sierra Chart does not support trading SPY options anywhere else.

Hello, I am confused on if I want to trade SPY Options Contracts. Do I have to continuiosly put in all the contract information each time in the IB API settings in the Component exch. Seperator section? I currently have a forward slash there (/). Thats alot of time wated if thats the case. Hard to scalp or get in fast to a position. I have read the instructions but I cant seem to grasp this part regarding SPY Options contracts. It says take information from the contract but where do you put this information everytime for every contract please. Warm regads, David W. |

Although you do have to fully specify the contract, according to the symbol format here: Interactive Brokers Symbols: Options Format ( Interactive Brokers) This must be for every option contract you are working with.
